Product Description: Isolated soy proteins (soy isolates) have been utilized in many clinical studies where the consumption of soy protein is being tested for chronic diseases. For instance, 40 grams of soy protein a day has been shown to reduce cholesterol, and while the isolates have little fiber and are lower in isoflavones (the protective qualities) than our other types of soy (for instance 18mg isoflavones per tablespoon in Crème It!™ vs only 5mg per tablespoon in the soy isolate) the isolate is tasteless and is useful in boosting soy protein levels by adding a couple tablespoons to shakes, spooning in soups, stews, casseroles, drinks or puddings. In general it can be used to increase daily soy protein usage without changing diet or lifestyle. A white fine powder that is virtually odorless and adds no flavors, it does have it's place in the soy household. Also, it's great for those protein based diets - just add this isolate to your meals to increase your percentage of protein.
